Loneliness
In a
Nutshell...
- If you don't know Christ as your Savior trust Him now.
Trust Him
- Determine to let Christ be your true peace and sufficiency for He is
always with you - Identify what is really wrong in your heart and
respond according to Biblical truth. - Respond quickly, put away anything that is besetting you.
Remember, sin and sinful
responses to God will make you feel lonely and down
- Do not let your feelings and emotions rule over you, obey the Word and
your
feelings and emotions will follow. -
Read Scripture and pray often - Believe God, trust Him; He knows and He cares - Reach out and begin to build a friendship with one other person - Find someone to begin to serve instead of thinking about being served
- Start to connect or re-connect with a local assembly or small group Bible
study
- Find a pastor or KSP (Known Spiritual Person) and seek help if you are
struggling
- Avoid "crying after people" and be strong in the Lord. Show a genuine
interest in
others.
- Don't fall into the pity thing |
